Privacy policy

Last updated: October 28, 2026

This policy explains how Agence Elliot inc. (“Elliot”, “we”) collects, uses, shares, keeps and protects your personal information when you use agenceelliot.com. It complies with Quebec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). In case of a difference between the two versions, the French version prevails.

Who is responsible

The person in charge of protecting personal information at Elliot is Philippe Archambault.

What we collect

  • Contact form: your first name, your company name, your email and, if you provide them, your phone number, your website and your message.
  • The Guide: your email.
  • The Rayons X website check: the address of the website you scan and its results (score and findings), without your IP address. If you ask for your full plan: your email and your consent.
  • Cookies: see the section below. Analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them.

We only collect what we need. We do not collect any sensitive information.

Why we use it

  • To answer your request and send you a proposal.
  • To send you the Guide you asked for.
  • To produce your Rayons X report and, if you ask, email you your full plan.
  • If you accept analytics cookies: to understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • If you accept advertising cookies: to measure our campaigns and show you more relevant ads.

By filling out a form, you consent to these uses. We do not sell or rent your information.

Who can access it

Only the people on the Elliot team who need it to answer you have access. We also work with providers who process information for us, under confidentiality obligations:

  • Wix.com: website hosting, forms, contact management and email sending.
  • Google (Rayons X): the PageSpeed Insights speed test receives the address of the scanned website, never your personal information.
  • Cloudflare (Rayons X): Turnstile bot check.
  • Google (if you accept analytics or advertising cookies): audience measurement and advertising.
  • Meta (if you accept advertising cookies): measurement of our ads on Facebook and Instagram.

Where it is stored

These providers may store your information outside Quebec, including in the United States. Before sharing information outside Quebec, we assess whether it will be adequately protected, as the law requires.

How long we keep it

  • Requests and Rayons X reports with no follow-up: 24 months after our last exchange.
  • Clients: for the length of the engagement, then for the time required by tax and accounting laws.
  • Guide subscribers: until you unsubscribe.
  • Cookie consent records: 3 years.

After that, we securely destroy or anonymize your information.

How we protect it

The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to information is limited to authorized people, with protected accounts.

Cookies

On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice. You can accept all, reject all or choose by category:

  • Essential: always on. They make the site work and remember your cookie choice.
  • Analytics: visit statistics, such as Google Analytics.
  • Advertising: ad measurement and personalization, such as Google Ads and Meta.

Until you accept a category, its cookies are not set. You can change your mind at any time with the “Manage cookies” link at the bottom of every page. Each choice is recorded in a log, with an anonymous ID, the date and your decision, to prove your consent.

Your rights

At any time, you can:

  • ask to access your personal information;
  • have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • withdraw your consent or ask us to stop sharing it;
  • ask us to delete it;
  • receive your information in a structured, commonly used technological format.

Write to Philippe Archambault at info@agenceelliot.com. We will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

Privacy incidents

If an incident presents a risk of serious harm, we promptly notify the people concerned and the Commission d’accès à l’information, and we keep a register of incidents.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version. If a change affects how we use your information, we will tell you clearly.
